Eating disorders and substance use disorders are common conditions that often present to primary care physicians, pediatricians, and behavioral health clinicians. Both conditions carry high morbidity and mortality rates and often require prompt evaluation and intervention to achieve optimal outcomes. This webinar will explore the interplay between substance use and substance use disorders in those patients with eating disorders. Information on how to appropriately screen, intervene, and initial treatment approaches will be discussed and resources will be provided.
