Description: This webinar will review conceptualizations of body image and their assessments, as well as mental health concerns associated with negative body image. The presenter will focus on sociocultural factors contributing to body image, including risk and protective factors, with the intent to broaden this review to diverse samples. Recommendations and guidance for interventions and strategies to improve clients’ body image will be presented.
